step 1 :: for starters, practice your winged liner! it doesn’t have to be perfect! in the tutorial, we used the NYX Matte Liquid Liner. if you are not used to using a liquid liner, try out a pencil (make sure it is sharpened because that helps with creating a more defined wing), or gel liner where you have more control over the brush.

step 2 :: take your white eyeliner (eyeliner used in tutorial: Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in White), and start applying it right under your black winged liner. this, again, does not have to be perfect. as long as you are drawing a straight line, you are good to go!

tip on making a cleaner liner :: using your nail, drag the liner (as shown in the tutorial). this helps with making the white liner look smoother rather than a harsh white line.

step 3 :: creating the second wing! this part requires the most concentration, but start with light strokes to outline your wing. in the tutorial, we used the MAC Cosmetics Pro Longwear Fluidline in Blacktrack and applied it using the C409 Angle Definer Brush (only $3.29!). it is definitely much easier to apply the lower wing using an angled brush since you have more control over the brush.

…and there you have it! a double winged liner which is perfect for any wedding occasion or even a night out! don’t forget to subscribe to our blog to get live notifications on new beauty & fashion inspo!
